Serving Our Soccer Community Since 1949

Olympia Football Club is a family of determined youngsters whose aim is to strike it gold by winning every game they play. The club was formed in 1948, but officially unveiled in 1949 by Dr. Ugo Giunchi. In 1951 the club was called Societa Sportiva Italiana officially changed its name to Italian Sporting Club. Since our establishment in 1949, we’ve had tremendous milestones. In 1959 we were promoted to the first division of STFA, and in 1964 we win the promotion to the National League under the guidance of Gino Ponte.

Olympia SAB Team

Hollywood Bets Mens Regional League

We are very proud to announce that Olympia Football Club in partnership with Brandon Barkhuizen, Daniel Cardoso, Keagen Ritchie and Brogen Sanders from DBK have acquired a Hollywood Bets Mens Regional League.

This came as a fantastic opportunity where we are able to elevate our club through this association and create a football club of excellence.

“Not only will this inspire and motivate our younger and junior teams to reach their full potential when they see they have a chance to play semi-professionally within the Hollywood Bets Mens Regional League, this will also strengthen the love of the game within our area”, says Olympia F.C’s Chairman, Giovanni Di Bendetto.

As a club we are very excited for this new venture and the opportunities it holds for the future.

Olympia Cares - Our Charity Division

Olympia Cares was born in 2017, and is the Charity Division of Olympia Football Club.  The brainchild of Giuliano Loddo, a long standing and loyal player of Olympia Football Club, whom believes a community-based Club should give back to the very community they represent.  The idea which started out as a fundraiser for cancer awareness, following the death of Paolo Biancolli, a senior player, was backed by Olympia Football Club Chairman, Giovanni Di Benedetto and the Olympia FC Committee.

Annual Charity Fundraiser

The event which is an annual Charity fundraiser is completely dedicated to Charity, with all monies raised through whatever means possible are donated to the respective Charities adopted and selected by the Olympia Cares Committee.

Olympia Cares Adopts Three Charities

The St. Lawrence Children’s Home – a home for abandoned and abused children.  The home houses 26 children ranging from 6 months to 19 years of age.  All 26 children are offered lunch at the Italian Club and given a shoebox Christmas gift, mainly from our generous football players. Jabulani Mendu Foundation – a home housing previously disadvantaged children from broken homes and the Lucky Lekwathi Foundation whom also houses previously disadvantaged children from broken homes.
